I Found Eleven Ways to Rhyme with “Zoetrope”

This book’s been simmering on the back burner for quite a while, but I’m moving it to the front of the stove and turning up the heat. This is going to be my first book published with interior color illustrations! Olivia Wylie’s artwork needs to be properly displayed. There’s still lots of (fun) work to do, but the cover is ready and that makes it feel real. Watch for pre-order availability in the near future.

The official back cover blurb goes like this:

“A verse-filled romp through colorful highlights of the Victorian era, presented in alphabetical order and accompanied by fine illustrations.

From simple haikus to the intricate and challenging octo, enjoy a creative journey through time, exploring everything from Ada to Zoetrope.”

Lori Alden Holuta lives between the cornfields of Mid-Michigan, where she grows vegetables and herbs when she’s not writing, editing, or playing games with a cat named Chives.
