Book Review: Blown Away
Blown Away by Holly Day
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
Espen is the closest you can get to being a big cuddly teddy bear. He loves his creature comforts (and yes, I chuckled while typing ‘creature’), protects his village, lives in a cozy home, and makes a mean hot dog on a stick. He’s certainly not looking to get into a steamy romance with a skittish, paranoid… Blue Jay named Arvid.
That’d be absurd.
But the weather’s turned stormy, the Blue Jay’s in trouble, there’s a bunch of mean ol’ wolf shifters looking for Arvid, and Espen has no choice but to help. Oh, fuss and bother!
This mostly-delightful, sometimes-confusing story with a hot and steamy interlude is well worth your time. It’s short and sweet and will leave you with a different opinion of the birds and the bears.
