Book Review: Follow The Lady

Follow the Lady (Aces High, Jokers Wild #4.5)Follow the Lady by O.E. Tearmann
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Future shades of Nine to Five! I think Dolly Parton would approve. This short revenge story packs a lot of punch and payback.

I’ve come to love the ‘in between’ short stories that fall in between the big adventures. I call them the “Point Five Stories” (and now you will, too!) Yvonne and Sarah are favorite characters of mine – they tend to be the smart, in-control duo. It was fun to see them go all out, including a crazy bit of improvisation, and stick it right back to the Corporation. The ladies are here to tell you that you just don’t mess with the Wildcards commander and get away with it.

A note: there’s a sexy interlude between Yvonne and her wife Sarah that manages to be graphic while staying playful and sassy. It definitely is in character for these two.
